Challenge
The customer needed a small batch of load-bearing brackets that matched the final aluminium geometry closely enough for assembly trials on a production line fixture.
Approach
We spread the batch across multiple FDM machines, oriented parts to minimise curl on thin flanges, and ran a short pilot build before the full quantity.
Result
All twelve sets met dimensional checks on critical bores. The client signed off the fixture design and proceeded to machined production with confidence.
Outcome
Client validated mounting geometry and bolt patterns before CNC machining, reducing rework on the production run.
